Surprise!!! I'm pregnant!

Most of you I think know that I'm about 2 months pregnant. We were so not expecting to be pregnant yet. I did go off of my birth control with the plan to try to get pregnant around Septemember. I couldn't have been more than a week pregnant and I already knew I was. I must be able to recognize the symptoms better this time! My morning sickness has been unpredictable, which is very different from with Ryan. I've been craving salads, at least its somewhat healthy. I've been tired and had some other preggers symptoms here and there, but I'm doing well!!
We heard the heartbeat this week! What a miracle to get to hear it like that, and so soon!
I am due around April 7, 2008. This just makes me laugh cause Ryan was due on April 5, 2006. I think it will be neat to compare my two pregnancies. Although I'm due in April, its more likely that I'll have the baby in March. I'm trying to talk my dr into a VBAC (Vaginal Delivery After Cesarian-Section), but it's not looking like that's gonna happen. They didn't tell me this in the hospital, but apparently, the dr said that my pelvis was too small to deliver Ryan's head. Ryan did not have a huge head??? Apparently pelvis size doesn't change, so chances are they won't let me try. I'm glad they were open to the idea, but it doesn't look like I'm going to meet the criteria for one. I'm okay with another C-Section, I just would rather it not be scheduled. I'd like the baby to come when it's ready!
We should find out the sex sometime in November. I actually had a dream last night that is was a boy LOL I'd be VERY happy with another boy, but we're hoping for a girl :)

Where Did the Summer Go?

It may still be VERY hot out, but our summer time has come and gone! We are back to our school year routine :) Kylie has joined us again! They are really enjoying each others company. I think Ryan missed her.

Ryan's saying many new words! Some of them are up, off, ice, teeth, eyes, cheese, cookie, cracker, luv you, and he loves to chant "Ready, set, Goooooo". I love seeing how much he's learning!

Our truck's battery died this week. Luckily, I was at my sister in laws house when it happened. Mitch was able to replace the battery and I am thankful to have a vehicle to drive again!

Mitch plays softball on a team with his work mates. They won their game 15 to 8 this week! It was great game! They haven't won many so I was really proud of them!

Here's a pic of Ryan and Kylie having fun together!

BEACH

We went to the beach on Friday with some friends. Ryan's first trip to the beach! Boy did he LOVE It! Wide open space to run and play, water, sand, and lots to look at! Some people next to us had a kite and he thought that was the neatest thing! He liked sitting in the water and kicking his feet to splash. Throwing the sand around was another big hit for him too! I've never tried to link a video on here, cause I'm not sure how it will work. So I'm going to put a link down below and see if it works. You should be able to click on it and view the videos.

Busy as a Bee

This boy is full of energy!!! This week I took Ryan to his first movie in a Theater. I took him to see "Everyone's Hero" at our local theater. They were having a family free movie. He really enjoyed it, and was surprisingly very well behaved! He's continuing to do very well in swim classes! Last week is his last week! I will post pics of him in the water as soon as a certain Aunt scans them for me :)
We spent 4th of July with some friends from Church. We had a huge Slip N Slide and and a kiddie pool for the babies. There were 10 kids in all! It was a fun day!
He now has 6 teeth! They just seem to be coming in VERY fast! He's been a little fussy but nothing horrible. He has his two top teeth, two bottom teeth, and two top molars.
He is in the stage of being into EVERYTHING!!! Which keeps Mommy quite busy :)
Ryan had a small cold that he passed on to Mitch. I'm doing all I can to NOT get sick. We are going to the beach tomorrow so I'll be sure to post some pics!
HUGS AND LOVE to all!

2 TEETH!

You heard me right! Ryan has TWO teeth! Finally, at 15 months, the boy has broken through his first two chompers!
He has also started his swim classes. He is learning to hold his breath under water, to crawl along the wall of the pool, to get out of the pool, and to kick his feet. It has been a little rough on him. Going under the water scares him a little but he seems to be getting more used to it. I am very proud of him! The instructor is VERY good at what she does!
He is also now preferring to walk. Crawling is a thing of the past!
He continues to be a curious little boy.
I will try to post a video of him on the site for you to see! He has found his belly button! It's so cute!

Road Trip

Our first road trip with Ryan went GREAT. He did very well in the car. Took good naps, ate, and played. He got fussy a little, but that's to be expected after 8hours! I didn't take a lot of pictures (forgot to take out my camera) but I did get a few of us as the wedding. Of course he was loved by all.
He is walking so much better now too! I've been teaching him sign langauge for eat, milk, and more. He's been using them more this week! They just grow, grow, grow!

Summer's Here

Ryan will be busy this summer. We are going on a short trip to NC at the beginning of June. It will be his first road trip! He's always done so well with other things, so I hope he will take this in stride! About a week later he will start taking some swimming classes. The classes are designed to teach him how to get out of the water and to roll over and float. Basically it teaches him how to survive. He will take those 3 days a week. We have lots of family and friends with pools, so I thought it was important for him to learn early. He is choosing to walk more on his own, and I'm starting to see something going on the tooth department, but still not teeth yet!
HUGS! Love you all!
